I met Yong as a co-worker, but we are privileged to know him as a friend. He's not only a sweet person, but also the finest watercolor portrait artist we know of. (And that's in the opinion of our daughter Mathilda, too, who is also an accomplished artist, as our homepage makes clear.)

Yong came to our home to make the three portraits on this page. I snapped them with a low-cost digital camera, so I've really not done them justice.
