Meanwhle, our former south door (there are still south sliding doors just out of the picture to the right) is being plastered over. The counter will be brought toward the former doorway by two feet, and a shelf for the microwave placed above it. That will give us four feet more of counter-top. The refrigerator will go back where the door had been. The refigerator outlet will be tapped into to provide an above the counter dual outlet for it and the microwave.
