pub  [1 of 25]

In March 2003 I had a business trip to the UK and was able to squeeze in a weekend visit with Jane and Tom (right) Bown. In 1984 Ruth and our daughter Mathilda were able to accompany me on an extended business trip, and we tacked on a bit of vacation, ending up, as Ruth wished, in Wales, her ancestral land. We'd found Tom & Jane's B&B "Drws y Coed" in a magazine. Our families became fast friends, and our daughters have exchanged visits. Tom and Jane made me feel so welcome 19 years later, it seemed like a homecoming! Here, we're at a local pub the evening I'd arrived. You can surf to sites about their B&B in Llanerchymedd, Gwynedd, Anglesey at www.islandofchoice.com/doc.asp?cat=793 or http://cgi.www.a1tourism.com/uk/drwsycoed.html or www.angleseyfarms.com/drws.htm.
