We took this carriage for a tour. I was explaining the sights to Ruth. (I had lived in New Orleans for some teenage years with my aunt "Babe" and uncle Harry Connick, Sr. -- before they had children.) Another honeymooning couple were seated behind us. At the end of the ride, the driver wouldn't take our fare, saying that I'd saved him the effort of narrating the tour!
